Introduction to Our Programs Part 2 – Ventures and Aboriginal Culture Youth Program
Last week we introduced two of the programs offered at DECSA and now we would like to introduce you to two more.
The Ventures Program is a unique program that exists to help persons living with a documented disability establish or continue expanding existing businesses. The program provides mentorship and support to help achieve realistic self-employment goals. The program has a disability-first focus, which means that all steps along the way will be set up to ensure future and immediate success. The individualized training can include: business training and coaching, referrals to outside business information, loan facilitation, and loan review. The post-care part of this program can run for up to three years after the development of the business planning.
If you would like to be considered for this program, you must be of 18 years of age or older, a resident of the Greater Edmonton area, have realistic entrepreneurial goals, and have a sound business idea.

We also offer the Aboriginal Culture Youth program, a 12-week evening program giving youth the opportunity to explore Aboriginal Culture.
